Review: I had been searching for a compact wood barn for a year now and finally found this high quality item at a great price! It is simplistic in design (no shingles or animal pens) and style (sealed natural wood, solid red gambrel roof). Accessible from both sides and sized large enough that 2 or 3 children could play at one time, but not so big that storage is a problem (fits on top of our Ikea Trofast units and integrates well with our Alex Toys Wooden Parking Garage and Plan Toys Chalet Dollhouse). The swinging doors will hold up well to toddler abuse! I plan to cut a v-notch in the ladder so it actually grips the loft floor. We will be using with the 3/4" scrollcut farm animal figures I made (and anything else the kids decide to incorporate!). I like the other commenter's idea of making an oatmeal container silo (it will need to be the big bulk one!)!
